Boiling speed is a notable feature, taking three minutes and 11 seconds to boil five cups, which is slower compared to other kettles. Despite this, the kettle retains heat well, keeping the water hot for an extended period of one hour. The Pure pour spout ensures no leaks while pouring, which is a beneficial feature. However, the handle's positioning and the window's design make it somewhat difficult to fill the kettle accurately.

For those who prioritize precision in pouring, especially for beverages like pour-over coffee, a gooseneck kettle such as the Fellow Stagg EKG, priced at $165, might be a better investment. Overall, the Dualit Design Series Kettle offers a blend of style, functionality, and heat retention at a reasonable price point.
