DACL Fine Chem to set up ₹500 crore chemical unit in KSEZ

Kakinada Special Economic Zone Limited (KSEZ) and Gujarat-based DACL Fine Chem have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a ₹500 crore chemicals manufacturing facility. The 50-acre campus project aims to produce high-value specialty chemicals for both domestic and international markets, potentially creating employment for local communities.

KSEZ's managing director and CEO, Ram Reddy Ojili, and DACL Fine Chem chairman, Amit Mehta, signed the agreement in Hyderabad on June 29. The project's success is expected to solidify Kakinada's reputation as a hub for specialty chemicals and advanced manufacturing industries. Spanning 6,000 acres along the Kakinada coast, the park is being developed to accommodate chemical, pharmaceuticals, food processing, engineering, and clean energy sectors.

DACL Fine Chem specializes in producing specialty chemicals, chemical intermediates, and performance chemicals.
