Clarivate has lifted its hold on the journal Heliyon following an internal audit that revealed over 1,000 retractions, expressions of concern and corrections. The journal will receive an impact factor in the upcoming cycle, according to a Clarivate spokesperson. In September 2024, Clarivate decided not to index new content from Heliyon in its Web of Science due to quality concerns.
