On August 7, Premier League club Manchester United received Altay Bayindir from Celta Vigo on loan. Meanwhile, in the English Football League, Middlesbrough received Delano Burgzorg from Preston on loan, while Notts County signed Dean Campbell from Northampton without a fee mentioned.

Nathaniel Chalobah moved from Sheffield Wednesday to Charlton for free on August 6. In the Women's Super League, Grimsby transferred Jaze Kabia to Leyton Orient without a fee. Alfie Merrit moved from Bournemouth to Newport on loan, and Tyler Onyango shifted from Everton to Sheffield Wednesday for free.
