Ahmed Ibrahim replaces Kenneth Adjei as Works, Housing and Water Resources Minister

President John Dramani Mahama has reappointed Ahmed Ibrahim to lead the Ministry of Works, Housing and Water Resources. The new assignment was disclosed in a statement released by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Presidential Spokesperson and Minister for Government Communications. Ibrahim, who represents the Banda Constituency in the Bono Region, succeeds Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, who had previously held the position of Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources.

This change is part of a series of adjustments to the President's cabinet as the government advances its objectives in crucial areas like housing development, water resources management, and infrastructure delivery. Prior to his reassignment, Ibrahim had served as the Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, where he managed matters concerning local governance, traditional leadership, and religious affairs.
