ADB Supports Ga Traditional Council Ahead of 2026 Homowo Festival

The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) has reaffirmed its dedication to fostering economic growth, social inclusion, and Ghana's cultural heritage by backing the Ga Traditional Council in preparation for the 2026 Homowo Festival. A high-ranking delegation from the Bank, headed by Deputy Managing Director Mrs. Sylvia Naa Kwakai Nyante, paid a visit to the Ga Mantse and presented a sum of cash, beverages, bottled water, and schnapps to contribute to the festivities.

This donation is in line with ADB's consistent dedication to promoting national unity, safeguarding Ghana's cultural customs, and developing relationships with communities through backing for major traditional events. During her presentation, Mrs. Nyante conveyed the bank's goodwill to the Ga Mantse and the residents of the Ga State, describing Homowo as a symbolic representation of resilience, gratitude, unity, and hope, all of which align with ADB's corporate principles.

The Bank has expressed its commitment to working with Ghana's traditional authorities, which she believes play a significant part in fostering peace, social harmony, and national progress. ADB's management and staff director emphasized that the bank's success is closely tied to the communities they serve, and supporting the Homowo Festival demonstrates their appreciation for Ghana's rich cultural legacy and their dedication to establishing connections with traditional authorities and the people of the Ga State.
