Vietnam’s FPT Says It Joined OpenAI Partner Network to Expand Enterprise AI in APAC

Vietnam's FPT Software has joined OpenAI's Partner Network, aiming to expand enterprise AI and cybersecurity services across Asia-Pacific. As a Select Partner, FPT plans to incorporate OpenAI technology into its FleziPT enterprise AI ecosystem and Patch the Enterprise cybersecurity initiative. These proposed services would automate business workflows and help security teams identify and remediate software vulnerabilities.

However, questions remain about customer deployments, performance, and data governance. FPT announced the partnership on August 6, 2026, though OpenAI had not included the company in its public partner directory at that time. The network offers training, technical resources, and support, but not certification of security or compliance.

Customers must independently evaluate each deployment. FPT intends to integrate OpenAI technology into its AI-assisted vulnerability-management program, Patch the Enterprise, and develop AI agents and automated workflows through its FleziPT platform. Organizations considering this partnership should address data processing, control, retention, and privacy concerns, as well as request specific performance metrics from FPT and OpenAI.
