Three charged for 'threats' amid probe into Black US teen's shady death

Three individuals have been charged for allegedly threatening a US judge, authorities, and witnesses involved in the investigation of Black teenager Nolan Wells' mysterious death. The threats, made through Facebook messages and phone calls, included allegations of sending explosive devices to Mississippi legal offices and witnesses.

The charges arose amid an investigation into Wells' death, which has drawn attention from civil rights figures, celebrities, and politicians demanding transparency. The autopsy results have not been released, and toxicology reports are pending, raising speculation that Wells may have consumed alcohol during a Independence Day party on an unserviced island off the Mississippi coast.

The three charged individuals, located in California, Ohio, and Illinois, claim they did not know Wells, his family, or those involved in the investigation.
