Semenyo backs Maresca to succeed as Man City enter post-Guardiola era

Manchester City winger Antoine Semenyo has expressed confidence in the club's future under manager Enzo Maresca, who is set to succeed Pep Guardiola. Semenyo, speaking at Ahmad Tea's Preparation is Everything event in Hong Kong, noted that Maresca, who previously served as Guardiola's assistant, is familiar with the club. He expects the team to adjust to Maresca's philosophy, which he believes is similar to Guardiola's tactics.

Semenyo, who joined City in January after a successful stint at Bournemouth, credits Guardiola for his development during his time at the club.
