NDC inaugurates reconciliation panel as Utomi, Galadima seek party unity

Prof Pat Utomi, former presidential candidate and chair of the NDC National Reconciliation Committee, expressed confidence that his party could reunite its members ahead of the 2027 general elections. Utomi, along with committee co-chair Buba Galadima, inaugurated the committee to reconcile aggrieved aspirants and stakeholders following the party's recent primaries.

The committee's primary goal is to restore unity within the party while focusing on Nigeria’s future, particularly in light of the young median age of 19.5 years. Both Utomi and Galadima are optimistic about the committee's ability to overcome challenges and ensure a successful reconciliation process, urging Nigerians to come together and support the party's broader national interest.
