My Life with the Walter Boys season 3 'fatal' shock ending could kill off one beloved character — but Netflix's season 4 renewal announcement might have already confirmed otherwise

As season 3's finale approached, Netflix made it clear that the two were once again separated, with Cole listening to Jackie's uncle Richard's advice that he was holding Jackie back. The heartbreak left Jackie heartbroken, and she found solace in the arms of newcomer Eliot, who wholeheartedly endorsed Richard's beliefs.

As the season progressed, Cole's life took a dangerous turn when a mysterious car pulled up during his drive to Jackie's community space launch party, revealing itself to be the drag racing contestant who was left behind in the final. The two cars collided, sending Cole's vehicle into a nearby field. With the renewed My Life with the Walter Boys season 4 announcement, Cole remains in perilous circumstances.

However, Netflix's confirmation that actor Noah LaLonde will be returning for season 4, along with a new image of him alongside Nikki Rodriguez and Ashby Gentry, gives hope that Cole may still be alive. The showrunners are undoubtedly planning to reunite Jackie and Cole romantically, despite the series' tendency to put the characters through hell before finally uniting them.

It is unlikely that Cole's character will be killed off completely, especially considering Alex's recent admission of his feelings for Kiley. While Jackie may initially follow through with her kiss with Eliot, it is possible she will ultimately regret this decision, as her future relationship with Cole could hinge on this moment.

However, there is a worst-case scenario where LaLonde may only be returning to film flashback scenes or communicate with Jackie through visions from beyond the grave, which would take the series down a darker route.
