Mother Pearl opens a new two-storey flagship in Lan Kwai Fong

Mother Pearl, the popular bubble tea chain, has opened a new two-story flagship store in Lan Kwai Fong, Central. The location, on D'Aguilar Street, is replacing the previously closed Lyndhurst Terrace outpost.

The ground floor of the new venue offers a daytime menu focused on energy, gut balance, and cognitive clarity. Options include drinks like the berry and ginger Bright Pressure, Clever Coca with lion's mane mushroom powder, and the Green Grin with spinach, avocado, spirulina, and tropical fruits. For coffee enthusiasts, there are espressos such as the osmanthus-infused Golden Veil, fruity Tidal Lychee, and sesame and chocolate mocha drink Midnight Dust.

The upper floor houses the Crafted Bar, an intimate lounge area offering a selection of drinks infused with traditional botanicals and functional ingredients. Cocktails like the Empress Wu, a gin-based creation layered with complex herbal aromatics that can be topped with pearl powder, and the Price of Time, a warm siphon-extracted whisky drink, are among the highlights.

Larger groups can also opt for shared drinks like the gin and apricot-infused Fountain of Youth or whisky-based Black Typhoon, both with the option to order non-alcoholic mocktails.

In addition to the drink offerings, Mother Pearl is introducing a grab-and-go menu featuring plant-based staples like wraps and mochi cookies, as well as zero-refined sugar gelato with flavors such as dark chocolate, vanilla, oolong tea, and jasmine tea. These offerings, made with oat milk, are available alongside small plates such as Mama’s nuggets, Smoke & Pearls, and Curious Burrata to accompany the drinks upstairs.

Mother Pearl is now open at 24 D'Aguilar Street, Central, with the ground floor open from 8am to 10pm daily and the upper-floor bar from 12pm to 12am.
