How ‘Inside Training Camp’ Is the Best Gateway to the Start of the NFL Season

For football enthusiasts, the arrival of August signifies more than just beach days and sweltering temperatures. It marks the commencement of NFL training camps, which are eagerly anticipated by fans across the nation. On a Monday night, the NFL Network broadcasted the live edition of its program, "Inside Training Camp," hosted in studio by Rhett Lewis and joined by various NFL Network and ESPN reporters stationed at different team training sites.

Daniel Jeremiah, the show's opening host from the Dallas Cowboys' camp in Oxnard, California, had a wealth of material to discuss. The Cowboys, in particular, provided ample content, with Jeremiah documenting their offensive and defensive drills. The show's appeal lies in its ability to capture the essence of training camp, featuring sunny days, enthusiastic fans, tackling dummies, and JUGS machines, along with coaches shouting instructions and blowing whistles.

Back in Oxnard, Jeremiah spoke with Cowboys Head Coach Brian Schottenheimer, who shared that the coaching staff gradually introduces workouts to prevent overwhelming players.
