Google Maps has recently been updated with an advanced AI feature named Ask Maps. Since its introduction in March, Ask Maps has been a helpful tool, enabling users to make various requests. 5. Propose ideas for spending a few hours near the hotel before a flight the next day.

6. Locate a great coffee spot between the user's current location and a dinner reservation tonight.

7. Recall activities suggested for a trip to a specific location.

The Ask Maps update has improved its ability to handle complex tasks that require multiple steps. It can now provide personalized responses by considering saved places and dietary preferences when searching for restaurants. Furthermore, it can compare real-time prices and check room availability for hotels. Users can enhance the feature by linking it to their Gmail account, allowing it to offer more relevant recommendations based on upcoming flight, hotel, or dinner reservations.

The history settings in Google Maps can also help Ask Maps access past conversations, making it easier for users to retrieve past recreational ideas.

Additionally, the latest update provides real-time transit information, user-generated text, conversational, and photo edits through the Contribute tab. This makes Google Maps an even more indispensable tool for travel and navigation.
