Trabzonspor president issues first comment after finalizing Mohamed Salah deal

Trabzonspor's president, Ertuğrul Doğan, has provided his initial remarks following the conclusion of Mohamed Salah's transfer. The Egyptian international, who had previously played for Liverpool FC, is now set to join the Turkish club. Doğan told Turkish newspaper Fanatik, "We can't talk about Mohamed Salah; he's a global star.

We needed a player like him." He further stated, "It would be a fantastic signing. We hope he will be beneficial to our club." Trabzonspor has been garnering attention both in Turkey and across Europe due to their impressive success, and young players are increasingly choosing to join the club. Doğan emphasized their intention to send a message that they can secure any desired player.

Regarding negotiations with Salah, he mentioned, "We rushed to finalize the deal as soon as other teams withdrew. I held a meeting with Mohamed Salah and his agent. It was a very professional and respectful meeting; both sides understood each other, and there were no difficulties." The president concluded that the meeting lasted approximately ten days, and everything became clear by the end of it.
