This Unique 'Solo Journaling RPG' Has a Kickstarter Campaign that's Ending Soon

Advent of Adventure, a unique solo journaling RPG, is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter and its campaign is set to conclude in the near future. The game, conceived by an independent UK-based publisher, takes the form of an advent calendar and is in the midst of a fantasy-themed adventure. The story begins with a greedy dragon stealing gifts from the North Pole, prompting gamers to embark on a mission to save Christmas.

Players get to create their own character and then follow a daily prompt to continue crafting the narrative, culminating in an ending of their own design.

The game follows up from the publisher's previous offering, Advent of Abomination, which had a darker theme focusing on Yuletide horror. Each day provides a new prompt with varying scare ratings, and there are additional decision-making prompts to add an extra layer of complexity.
