Reports: Purdue Has Found Their Next AD

Purdue Boilermakers are set to introduce their new Athletic Director, Tommy McClelland, after finalizing a deal with Rice University. McClelland, 44, has been serving as an athletic director for nearly two decades and has extensive experience in fundraising, particularly during his stints at Rice and Vanderbilt. During his tenure at Vanderbilt, he spearheaded a $300 million capital improvement campaign, and at Rice, he announced a $120 million stadium renovation.

Despite Purdue's struggles in football, McClelland's reputation as a prolific fundraiser makes him a promising candidate for the position.
