Pokémon Pokopia Version 2.0.0 Released, And Here Are the Full Patch Notes

Nintendo Switch 2 owner's Pokémon Pokopia received its 2.0.0 update, bringing a wealth of new features and improvements. This version is currently accessible to all Pokopia players, regardless of whether they possess the Expansion Pass. The most significant addition is the all-new Dive ability, which allows players to survive and build underwater for the first time. This newfound ability features a charming bubble effect for Ditto, enabling them to explore the depths beneath the waves for extended periods.

With this update, players can now access a variety of new recipes, emotes, and hairstyles, including five new hair colors such as orange, light pink, yellow-green, blue-green, and brown. The patch notes also highlight several gameplay enhancements, including the ability to move items in bulk between storage and bags, delete items placed inside objects, and fine-tune depth placement when installing windows and doors.

Additionally, players can now hide the confirmation message when canceling Magnet Rise and move while the move wheel is open.

Pokémon Pokopia's Expansion Pass holders will be able to access the Bubbly Basin DLC after completing certain requirements, such as learning the Dive move and upgrading Bleak Beach's Raise the Environment Level quest to level 5. Upon completion, Popplio will appear at the Pokémon Center and guide players to the new Bubbly Basin gate.

Other improvements include the ability to appraise up to 10 relics simultaneously, the option to hide the confirmation message for Magnet Rise, and increased movement while the move wheel is open. The patch also improves the appearance of certain items, such as the stylish stool, handrail, and metal chain, and allows for better customization of these elements.

Several gameplay issues have been addressed in this update, including the occasional failure of options such as "Follow me!" when speaking to a Pokémon assigned to construct buildings, and Suicune and Gholdengo's inability to travel across water. Additionally, the game now includes an All tab for the Pokédex and Habitat Dex, and improved messaging when there are insufficient materials for copying items using the 3D Printer.
