Meijer Slash Prices on More Than 1,000 Items: List of Biggest Savings

Meijer has slashed prices on over a thousand grocery and household products through September 8 as part of a six-week promotion available in stores, online, and via their app. The retailer's chief merchandising & marketing officer, Don Sanderson, stated that the discounts are offered without requiring any coupons or special memberships, aiming to provide relief to hardworking Midwestern families.

Don Sanderson emphasized their commitment to offering value to customers 365 days a year, with this discount campaign serving as a way to express gratitude as families enjoy the final weeks of summer. Meijer's promotion makes it the latest major grocery chain to join the race for budget-conscious shoppers. Some of the most significant discounts involve fresh foods.

For instance, 16-ounce containers of strawberries have decreased from $2.99 to $2.50, whole seedless watermelons have dropped from $8.99 to $4.99, Kellogg's Frosted Flakes cereal has been reduced from $4.29 to $2.99, and 24-ounce jars of Vlasic pickles are now priced at $2.50 instead of $3.49. In addition to groceries, other categories like toilet paper have also seen price reductions.

Meijer Soft & Strong 18 Mega Roll toilet paper is now $10.49, down from $13.99. The campaign covers a wide range of categories, including fresh produce, meat, cereals, snacks, and paper goods, with an additional selection of products being added throughout the promotion.
