I spent two months cleaning with the Samsung Jet 95S stick vacuum and I’m shocked at how well it performs — and for a good price too

The Samsung Jet 95S stick vacuum impressed the reporter during a two-month test, delivering surprising performance and value for its price. Despite not being as lightweight as expected, the compact design, weighing 2.69kg with the floorhead, made it easier to maneuver compared to larger models. The suction power, rated at 280AW, matched that of more expensive competitors like the Dyson Gen5detect, often requiring fewer passes to clean carpets and hard floors.

The Jet 95S offered four suction settings, with the lowest setting outperforming Dyson's Eco mode. However, the main floorhead, Jet Dual Brush+, had limited maneuverability on hard floors. The kit included multiple attachments, such as a telescopic tube and a pet tool, which set it apart from other cordless vacuums. Priced at AU$799 in Australia, the Jet 95S provided excellent value for money compared to alternatives like the Shark PowerDetect Clean & Empty, which could be cheaper but lacked the Jet 95S's suction power.

The vacuum was currently available for purchase through Samsung and select third-party retailers in both Australia and New Zealand.
