Google emerges as India's most attractive employer brand, followed by Tata Group, Amazon: Report

India's Randstad Employer Brand Research (REBR) 2026 has ranked Google as the country's most attractive employer brand, followed closely by the Tata Group and Amazon, according to the latest report. Conducted across 34 markets and involving over 175,000 respondents, with nearly 3,500 participants hailing from India, the REBR 2026 paints a picture of a workforce that is increasingly mobile, with 46% of Indian talent planning to switch jobs within the next six months, and 32% having already done so in the same timeframe.

The report highlights that work-life balance, equal opportunities, career progression, salary, benefits, and a strong reputation are the core pillars of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) that Indian workers are looking for. As Narayan Iyer, MD of Randstad India, points out, while many companies have made significant strides, the evolving expectations of talent are outpacing the capacity of organizations to adapt.

The report identifies Samsung India in the fourth position, Infosys at fifth, Reliance Industries at sixth, ITC Group at seventh, Hindustan Unilever at eighth, Mahindra & Mahindra at ninth, and Dell Technologies Ltd at tenth in the list of top 10 most attractive employer brands in India. The underlying themes that drive these EVP drivers include performance recognition, career continuity, and reliable pay and benefits, which form the bedrock of job security in India.

Looking ahead, the report suggests that the workforce is ushering in an era of the "Balanced Employer" - an organization that adeptly balances meaningful work, career growth, inclusivity, wellbeing, flexibility, and competitive rewards. Iyer emphasizes that in the context of India's emerging economic influence, it is the enterprises that successfully rethink their talent strategies that will thrive in the talent attraction and retention game.
