Colts Rookie Emerging as Threat to Start

A.J. Haulcy, a rookie safety from LSU, is proving himself to be a valuable asset for the Indianapolis Colts. Anarumo also mentioned that young players often make mistakes, but Haulcy appears to be limiting them, often being in the right spot. Additionally, head coach Shane Steichen has been impressed by Haulcy's "ballhawk" instincts.

Described as a smart young player, Steichen believes Haulcy is in position for a lot of plays and has great instincts. The rookie has also demonstrated his physicality with 203 total tackles and 10 interceptions in his college career, forcing four fumbles.
