Brock Lesnar reveals how Oba Femi made him realize he had to retire from WWE

Brock Lesnar announced his retirement from professional wrestling after an emotional match with Oba Femi at SummerSlam. The third installment of their trilogy took place inside Hell in a Cell, a match Lesnar had been undefeated in throughout his career. Following the match, Lesnar publicly confirmed his retirement on the Pat McAfee Show.

During the interview, Lesnar stated that the finish he faced from Femi at WrestleMania 42, the Fall From Grace powerbomb, was the final indication he needed to retire from wrestling. He expressed gratitude for the support he received throughout his career and thanked everyone for following him since he was a young boy. Lesnar's wrestling journey began at the University of Minnesota, where he won the NCAA heavyweight championship, catching the attention of WWE talent scouts.

After a short stint with the Minnesota Vikings, Lesnar pursued a career in the NFL but ultimately returned to wrestling in 2007, signing with the UFC. Despite a brief MMA career, Lesnar cemented his status as an all-time great heavyweight wrestler, winning the UFC heavyweight championship and numerous world titles.
