He admitted, "I'm really going through it right now: How much longer do I want to do this, what does it mean, why am I doing it anyway?"

Flowers also shared that he experiences a physical reaction whenever he finishes a tour, which he attributes to more than just post-tour fatigue. He pondered his father's seemingly simple and content life, contrasting it with his own pursuit of music. His father often goes yard saling, buying frames to paint, and appears to derive happiness from this simple activity. This observation led Flowers to ponder if music is the sole source of his happiness.

However, Flowers found solace in the thought of Mick Jagger, the legendary Rolling Stones frontman, who continues to perform despite his age. Flowers mused, "Then I think of Mick Jagger and ask myself: What keeps him getting up on that stage? I guess it's because there are powerful moments in a concert." This comparison led Flowers to reflect on the powerful moments he experiences during concerts, which he finds compelling and continues to seek.
