Tottenham Hotspur have expressed interest in Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Jean-Matteo Bahoya

Eintracht Frankfurt striker Jean-Matteo Bahoya has attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports from The Athletic. The London club seeks reinforcements in the final third and have previously held discussions with the French winger's representatives prior to the transfer window opening. Despite this, Tottenham has not yet approached Eintracht Frankfurt regarding a potential deal, as Bahoya has never been considered a primary target.

The 21-year-old's talents have also caught the attention of Arsenal and have drawn attention from Saudi Arabian clubs. A skilled left winger, Bahoya excels in dribbling, completing 2.78 take-ons per 90 minutes during the previous season. This statistic places him among the elite wingers in Europe's top five leagues, with his performance surpassing 94% of his peers.

Tottenham's transfer target also boasts impressive speed, being the Bundesliga's fastest player and only one in the league to exceed 37km/h since records began. Only three players have achieved this feat in the Premier League.

Bahoya's personal best speed is recorded at 37.16 km/h, and adding him to the Tottenham squad alongside fellow fast attacker Micky van de Ven – who holds the record at 37.38 km/h – would undoubtedly pose challenges for opponents during counterattacks.
