Seahawks Hard Knocks debut episode tonight. Here’s what they are saying about it

The Seahawks have embarked on their first-ever appearance on NFL Films' annual Hard Knocks series, which begins on HBO with a premiere on August 4. Cameras are omnipresent at the team's training camp, capturing every moment, from players tying their shoes to discussions in team meetings and locker rooms. Coach Mike Macdonald is not opposed to the cameras, stating that he wants his players to be themselves in front of them.

The team has the final say on which footage is aired, and so far, the producers have been pleased with the depiction of the Seahawks. Quarterback Sam Darnold and wide receiver Cooper Kupp have expressed that the cameras have made their training camp experience more enjoyable, with the latter even jokingly taking over a sound crew's microphone during a practice.

However, some players, like left tackle Abe Lucas, have mixed feelings about the cameras, acknowledging that they add a unique element to the camp while still embracing the experience.
