OG Anunoby Says He’s the Only Player with Style on the New York Knicks Team

In a recent interview with Footwear News, OG Anunoby, a star forward for the New York Knicks, claimed that he is the only player on the team with genuine style. Anunoby made this assertion while discussing the new sneakers he released in partnership with Skechers. The Nigerian-American basketball player, who led the Knicks to an NBA championship, joked about not admiring anyone else's fashion sense on the team.

However, he did extend a compliment to his friend Landry Shamet, who he called "cool" in his dressing sense. Anunoby's confidence in his style was backed by his successful collaboration with Skechers, which resulted in the release of his signature sneaker, the "NYC Blue" Skechers SKX Nexus. The sneaker was announced in late June and sold out almost immediately, with tens of thousands of fans preordering it.

Skechers President and co-founder Michael Greenberg praised Anunoby's role in the partnership, calling it a validation of their efforts. Notably, Anunoby became the first NBA player to win a championship while wearing Skechers basketball sneakers, further solidifying his claim as the Knicks' best-dressed player.
