Mike Florio Talks NBC, ‘PFT Live’ Shifts, 49ers Criticism
The ProFootballTalk founder returns as a ‘Football Night in America’ analyst.
Mike Florio, analyst for NBC's Sunday Night Football pregame show and head of ProFootballTalk, discusses his demanding media schedule and recent criticism of the 49ers. With Football Night in America moving to live broadcasts from each game site, Florio faces challenges balancing PFT Live and ProFootballTalk. Former quarterback Chris Simms will co-host PFT Live four days a week, joining him for most appearances.
Florio has not spoken with the 49ers about their handling of coach Kyle Shanahan's car accident, believing no comment was needed.
