While acknowledging UCLA's reputation, Murphy emphasized the benefits of a regulation court, a weight room, a sauna, a cold tub, and turf at the new LA facility. He highlighted the camaraderie and motivation derived from the presence of multiple players in a single location, stating, "I had one of my best workouts I’ve had, and I’ve shot it really well because I knew there's other people watching."
