Dax aktuell: Dax schließt so hoch wie nie zuvor – „Aus technischer Sicht besteht weiteres Potenzial“

Düsseldorf: The German stock market continues to set record highs, with the DAX closing at a record high of 26,202 points on Tuesday. The optimism from the beginning of the week carried over into the trading session, pushing the leading index to an unprecedented high of 26,266 points during the day. The DAX had previously broken the 26,000 point mark for the first time in its history on Monday, finishing the day at 26,001 points, a 1.5% increase.

Key drivers of the index's performance included Telekom, SAP, and Rheinmetall, which were some of the biggest gainers among the large-cap stocks. A total of nearly 65 million shares traded on Monday, the same number as early July. According to Jochen Stanzl, head market analyst at Consorbank, "This demonstrates that the new DAX highs are driven more by expectations of better international business than by hope for an improvement in the economic situation in Germany itself."
