Dave Roberts hopes Tarik Skubal can break Dodgers’ losing streak

We just need to win a game," Roberts said, expressing excitement for Skubal's first appearance with the Dodgers.

Skubal has been a standout pitcher for the past three seasons, winning the AL Cy Young award twice with the Detroit Tigers. Despite Detroit's playoff runs both seasons, they were unable to secure a championship each time. Skubal was eventually traded to the Dodgers, with the hope that he can contribute to Los Angeles' pursuit of a third consecutive World Series title.
