3 college football over/unders to bet now: Why you should fade Michigan

Three college football over/unders are worth considering for bettors this season. Paul Stone, a respected college football handicapper, provided his insights on these wagers. The first is on Michigan under 8.5 wins at odds of -170. Stone doesn't believe Michigan will achieve this number, attributing it to the strength of their schedule.

The Wolverines have a tough opener against Oklahoma, along with games against Oregon and Ohio State, adding to the challenge. Stone believes eight wins would be a remarkable feat for Kyle Whittingham in his first season, hence the under bet.

The second over/under recommendation is on Arkansas under 4.5 wins at odds of -175. Last season, Arkansas had a dismal 2-10 record, and they ended the season winless in SEC play. They have a new head coach, Ryan Silverfield, who was not initially chosen for the program. Stone doesn't see Arkansas reaching five wins, as they're projected to be double-digit underdogs in eight of their remaining ten games. They're expected to win at most one of these games, with a touchdown in the other two.

Lastly, Iowa State under 5.5 wins at odds of -180 is another worth considering. After Matt Campbell left Ames, Iowa State now has Jimmy Rogers as their coach. Rogers, who previously coached at Washington State, has a difficult first game against Penn State due to a depleted roster. Twenty-four Iowa State players moved on to Penn State, including their starting quarterback, Rocco Becht.

The team also lacks a reliable running back and a significant number of reliable receivers. Stone believes the Cyclones' new roster won't be capable of achieving five wins this season.
