Vote for top quarterbacks in Greater Cincinnati high school football

The Greater Cincinnati high school football landscape continues to produce talented quarterbacks as the area's up-and-coming players prepare to emulate the success of veterans like Joe Burrow. As some of the top passers in Cincinnati history have already graduated, this fall's quarterbacks remain as strong as ever. The USA Today Co. network is introducing a new polling service for readers to vote for their preferred quarterback, with the poll closing on August 7th.

Among the top quarterbacks in the Queen City, Bryce Armstrong of Highlands stands out as a freshman with impressive potential. With 208 yards and four touchdowns in his freshman season, he has already received offers from Southern University and Austin Peay. Devlan Daniel of Indian Hill showcases his versatility as both a passer and a runner, with 1,192 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior.

Kaden Estep of Elder led the Panthers to a strong performance in the Greater Catholic League-South, throwing for 2,430 yards and 15 touchdowns in his junior year.

Roman Garr of Colerain, who threw for 1,938 yards as a sophomore, has already attracted interest from multiple Division I schools. Lawrenceburg's Crue Gilmour demonstrates his ability to contribute in multiple facets of the game, throwing for 1,897 yards and 26 touchdowns as a junior. Cincinnati Country Day's Levi Guttman continues to excel as the top returning passer in the Miami Valley Conference, leading the conference in passer rating and yardage.

Lakota East's Nile Knutson showed his dominance as a sophomore, leading the league in passing yards and touchdowns.

Beechwood's Emmett Queen, an impressive 6-foot-3, 215-pound recruit, shows poise in the pocket and has the ability to connect with receivers and running backs. Anderson's Owen Scalf, a senior, is poised to lead the Eastern Cincinnati Conference in passing yards, having thrown for 4,961 yards and 41 touchdowns in 2025. Lakota West's Jackson Smith, who started as a freshman in his first two games, now leads the Firebirds and has seven offers from high-major schools.
