Vote for Cincinnati's top forwards in 2026 boys soccer preseason

As Cincinnati's high school soccer season approaches, the Enquirer has unveiled its final list of top forwards and goalscorers. Fans are invited to cast their votes on the poll, which will remain open until 4 p.m. on Friday, August 7. Senior scorer Ben Angelica of Wilmington led the Hurricane to a 14-1-3 record with 30 goals and nine assists, boasting 62 career goals. Marco Barrios from Simon Kenton contributed 25 goals, playing a pivotal role in the Pioneers' 32nd District championship and Eighth Region semifinals.

Ethan Brandhorst of Turpin, another senior, was the leading scorer for the Spartans, who finished the season with a 16-2-4 record. He tallied nine goals and seven assists. Cristian Dominguez, a sophomore at Norwood, had an impressive debut season with 18 goals and 10 assists, guiding the Indians to a 7-8-2 record.

Tyler Hahn of Bethel-Tate, also a senior, led the Tigers to a 7-8-3 record with 17 goals and eight assists. He earned first-team all-league honors in the SBAAC-National. Carter Lund of Summit Country Day capped a stellar season by scoring a hat trick in the Division V state final, amassing 10 goals and four assists. He enters his senior year with 17 career goals and eight assists.

Luke Neltner of Bishop Brossart, a senior, led the Mustangs to a 16-8-1 record and the 10th Region championship, contributing 22 goals and 12 assists. Isaiah Rodgers of Summit Country Day, a junior, was a key offensive player for the Division V state champions, scoring seven goals and five assists. He has 11 career goals and eight assists.

Santino Serger of Mariemont, a senior, led the Warriors to a 17-3-1 record and second place in the Cincinnati Hills League, scoring 15 goals and eight assists. Miles Steininger of Wyoming, the only returning first-team All-CHL player, had seven goals and six assists as a junior, finishing the season with the team on the verge of the state semifinals.

Paxton Ball from Cincinnati Christian, Ross Barrett from Waynesville, Tair Begzhan from Mason, Alessandro Caggioni from Madeira, Andrew Cornejo from Madeira, Martin Cowden from Madeira, Jean Luc Davis from Madeira, Aldo Dokouzov from Mason, Mamoudou Diaw from Winton Woods, Jackson Engel from East Central, Eli Gaffney from Harrison, Charlie Gehringer from Milford, Devon Gregory from Williamsburg, Logan Griffin from McNicholas, Francisco Hernandez from Norwood, Lucas Inderhees from East Central, Alex Lopez from Sycamore, Salem Mayala from Boone County, Cooper Neace from Ryle, Hudson Ostertag from Elder, Jayse Riggs from Eastern, Anthony Soltero from Monroe, Landon Swaynie from Bethel-Tate, Chase Wagner from Harrison, and Elijah Witt-Brewster from Oak Hills are also on the radar for the 2026 season.
