Tottenham ready to launch Osimhen bid

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prepared to pursue Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, despite previous unsuccessful pursuits by other top European clubs, according to PUNCH Sports Extra. The north London club, who have already made significant investments this summer totaling over £230m, have identified Osimhen as the key addition to their attacking lineup.

Spurs have reportedly offered £65m for the Nigerian international, although his current valuation stands at €150m, and he is contracted until 2029. Galatasaray considers Osimhen their star player and will only consider a transfer if they desire it. However, Tottenham has received "sporting approval" to initiate formal negotiations for Osimhen's signing.

The 27-year-old has been instrumental in securing three league titles in the past four years, winning Serie A, Super Lig, and consistently scoring goals in the Champions League.
