Jan Blachowicz shows off gnarly cut after UFC Belgrade loss

Jan Blachowicz, the former UFC light heavyweight champion, recently displayed a prominent injury from his loss at UFC Belgrade. The fighter shared photos on social media, showcasing the gruesome cut he received during his technical knockout victory over Navajo Stirling. In the clash, Stirling landed a devastating strike that sent Blachowicz crashing to the ground, after which the American fighter proceeded to inflict a significant facial injury using ground-and-pound techniques.

Stirling's most severe cut to date marked the culmination of a brutal fight. Post-bout, Blachowicz posted pictures of the wound before and after it received stitches, captioning the image, "It is what it is. Another one for the collection." This defeat extended Blachowicz's streak of five consecutive losses, with his last win dating back to May 2022.

Since then, the Polish fighter has struggled, enduring draws against Magomed Ankalaev and Bogdan Guskov, as well as decision defeats to Alex Pereira and Carlos Ulberg.
