Four relief camps remain open in Kasaragod

Following the recent floods and landslips in Kasaragod district, four out of the eight relief camps established have been closed as the situation improves. These four camps continue to operate in Vellarikundu taluk, with a total of 155 individuals from 43 families currently residing in them. The relief camps are situated in Palavayal and Kallar villages.

Of the four camps that have been shut down, they were located at Chathamath Temple Auditorium, Klayikkode Nayanar Mandiram, GLPS Vellatt in Hosdurg taluk, and Desasevani Vayanasala camp in Vellarikundu taluk.
