Chief of Staff pledges government’s closer collaboration with KNUST

The Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, has emphasized the government's dedication to fostering a closer relationship with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to bolster research, innovation and entrepreneurship. At the inauguration of Professor Christian Agyare as the 13th Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, Debrah emphasized that this occasion signified more than a mere transition in leadership; it also underscored the nation's commitment to education as a pivotal catalyst for national advancement.

Debrah expressed the government's intent to collaborate closely with KNUST, ensuring that research and innovation culminate in practical solutions that engender job creation, tackle societal challenges and elevate the well-being of Ghanaians. He commended Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Chancellor of KNUST, for his stewardship and recognized the efforts of the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Professor Rita Akosua Dickson.

Debrah also extended congratulations to Professor Agyare on his tenure as the university's new leader, voicing confidence in his capacity to steer KNUST towards a trajectory of growth and eminent achievement.
