Browns rookie WR KC Concepcion appears to injure right shoulder

On Monday, rookie wide receiver KC Concepcion of the Cleveland Browns appeared to injure his right shoulder during the 2-minute drill at the end of a practice session. The incident occurred after he collided with Myles Harden, who was attempting to make a tackle. According to multiple reports, Concepcion remained on the ground after the hit before walking to the sideline with the assistance of athletic trainers while holding his shoulder.

Cleveland.com reporter Mary Kay Cabot stated that Concepcion did not immediately head to the locker room following the injury, as he remained on the field and conversed with running backs Duce Staley and others. It is unclear whether this was merely a scare or if the injury was more severe. Concepcion was selected by the Browns in the first round of the draft out of Texas A&M.

In his first college season with the Aggies, Concepcion amassed 61 receptions for 919 yards and nine touchdowns, along with two punt return touchdowns. Over his three-year college career, which included two seasons at North Carolina State, he accrued 2,218 receiving yards, 431 rushing yards, and 28 total touchdowns from scrimmage.
