Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Update 1.0.6 Launches Tomorrow — Here Are The Patch Notes

Ubisoft has scheduled an update for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced to launch on August 4. The update, numbered 1.0.6, will be available for download on PC and consoles starting at 7am Pacific, 10am Eastern, and 3pm UK time. The update weighs in at 15.2GB for Xbox Series X/S, 5.03GB for PlayStation 5, and 1.8GB for Steam.

The most prominent change in this update is the ability to hide Edward Kenway's blowpipe, which currently sticks out from his back. Players can toggle the blowpipe on or off by hitting R2 to "Hide Gear" when selecting their outfit in the inventory screen. Other changes in the patch include bug fixes, such as increased autosaves, fixing cutscene FPS issues on PC, and adding a tutorial for throwing money.

Other notable fixes include resolving issues with DLC Pack notifications, ensuring players receive purchase confirmation messages for Resource Packs, and fixing problems with Edward's hood during the Leap of Faith. The update also addresses issues related to enemy ships damaging the Jackdaw at certain angles, dead bodies being looted/carried, and guards' delayed reaction to hanging bodies.

In addition, the patch resolves problems with the Kraken wheel's incorrect cost, the missing tutorial for throwing money, and the Kraken wheel being priced too high for initial purchase. Other fixes include improved visuals, audio, and lag issues during assassinations. Lastly, UI/Menu changes include updating the font for Simplified Chinese localization, fixing alignment issues for Arabic language, and correcting ally ship icon display.
