Greece faced a worsening fire crisis on Sunday, with wildfires burning on multiple fronts and swaths of forest and agricultural land destroyed. Strong winds were worsening fires and hampering firefighting aircraft, officials said, and a search and rescue operation was under way after two firefighting helicopters collided west of Athens.
