On July 24, KuCoin hosted its ninth anniversary celebration, "On Cloud 9 Skybox Experience," at the Tomorrowland festival in Boom, Belgium. The event took place on the opening night of the festival's second weekend, featuring performances by notable artists such as Nicky Romero, Alok, Steve Angello, and Hardwell. The skybox was situated 43 meters above the Mainstage, overlooking a waterfall, lasers, and the largest mainstage Tomorrowland has ever built.

KuCoin, as an exclusive crypto exchange and payments partner, aimed to demonstrate the real-world utility of crypto payments by partnering with a festival that attracts 400,000 attendees from over 200 countries. By doing so, the company seeks to prove the everyday utility of crypto payments in a controlled environment with a large, diverse audience.

The anniversary campaign, "Beyond the Signal," is centered around trust as the theme of the ninth anniversary. KuCoin's CEO, BC Wong, emphasized that trust, rather than just growth, has been the platform's defining achievement. The campaign includes a multi-track trading competition and pushes users towards KuCoin Pay, KuMining, and KuCoin Web3 Wallet, among other products.
