Mamdani is antisemite hiding behind fake smile, Israeli Consul-General Ofir Akunis says

In an interview with CBS News, Israel's Consul-General in New York City, Ofir Akunis, accused New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani of being an antisemite. Mamdani allegedly hides behind a fake smile and pretends to be a friend of the Jewish community. Akunis stated, "I will ensure the security of the Jewish community in New York."

Akunis questioned how he could make such a claim while accusing Israel of orchestrating a genocide in Gaza. Akunis vehemently denied Mamdani's allegations, calling it a "disgusting lie" and asserting that there is no genocide in the Gaza Strip. He also condemned Mamdani for using the term "monsters" to describe the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a similar term that the Nazi regime used against the Jewish community.

In his closing remarks, Akunis expressed his love for the United States and warned against the potential imposition of Sharia law in the country. He emphasized the importance of stopping it before it's too late.
