Lazio will be playing their second friendly match in three days, but the lineup and atmosphere will be significantly different in Ascoli. The Biancocelesti have already participated in three friendlies this summer, with the most recent being on Saturday. Only 36 hours after their 6-3 victory over Avellino, Gennaro Gattuso's team will now be playing away at the Stadio Cino e Lillo Del Duca in Ascoli.

For the first time this pre-season, the club's supporters will travel to support Lazio, a move that fans have been boycotting since January in protest against president Claudio Lotito. As a result, around 2,700 Lazio fans are expected to attend the match, which starts at 20:45 local time in Ascoli. However, the away section only has 900 seats, meaning two-thirds of the traveling Biancocelesti will have to find alternative ways to enter the stadium.

Gattuso will make significant changes to the starting lineup, dropping those who played against Avellino, with a few exceptions. Christos Mandas will retain his place in goal, while Alfonso Pedraza is expected to start at left-back in the absence of Nuno Tavares. Manuel Lazzari, Danilho Doekhi, and Oliver Provstgaard will replace Romano Floriani Mussolini, Adam Marusic, and Alessio Romagnoli in defense.

The midfield duo of Adrian Przyborek and Reda Belahyane will take over from Nicolo Rovella and Kenneth Taylor, while Gabriele Artistico could replace Petar Ratkov up front. The supporting crew may also see changes, with Tijjani Noslin, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, and club captain Mattia Zaccagni stepping in.
