Female driver dies in Lagos road crash

A female driver tragically lost her life in a vehicle crash along one of Lagos' busiest roads. The incident occurred when the woman, driving a Toyota Sienna with registration number LND 162 HB, lost control of her car on Mongoro Road at Ile-Zik. Her vehicle veered off the road and collided with a roadside building, resulting in her instantaneous death as she was the only occupant of the car.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed the incident and stated that their officers responded promptly to the scene, securing the area and managing traffic to prevent further accidents. LASTMA's General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, condemned the tragedy as a reminder of the dangers of reckless driving and excessive speed, urging motorists to prioritize safety at all times.
