Bournemouth close in on £11.1m Juanlu

Bournemouth are in the closing stages of a £11.1m deal to sign Sevilla's young right-back, Juanlu, as the club finalises its summer signings ahead of a historic Europa League campaign. The 22-year-old defender, who boasts significant experience at Spanish youth level, will join for an initial £9.4m with a further £1.7m in potential add-ons.

This move would make the Cherries' third signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Antonio Silva and Alvaro Rodriguez, both for £25.7m. Manager Marco Rose is now focused on securing a number two goalkeeper to challenge Djordje Petrovic before pre-season training begins. Sevilla has shown interest in Bournemouth's striker, Enes Unal, but the Turkish international also has other options abroad. Meanwhile, stars Eli Junior Kroupi, Rayan, and Alex Scott remain off the market.
