(Photo from Facebook) In an interview with Bernama, the Barisan Nasional (BN) leader expressed his willingness to collaborate with any party for the upcoming PRN Melaka under the BN Plus formula. Ab Rauf, who is also the Chief of Umno in the state, stated that anyone can come forward for discussions, but meaningful discussions are not necessarily bound to an agreement or consensus.

The focus should be on the strengths of each party. He emphasized that there is no fixed binding agreement yet, but he is open to anyone who wishes to discuss. On Saturday, BN leader Zahid Hamidi was reportedly informed that a successful partnership between BN and Perikatan Nasional (PN) to form the Selangor state government is expected to carry forward the momentum of their victory in the PRN Melaka.

Ab Rauf also praised Adun Juasseh Ismail Lasim for his selection as the new Menteri Besar of Selangor. He expressed his hope that Ismail would perform his duties and provide the best service as promised in his manifesto. In the PRN, BN secured 18 DUN seats, PH with 11 seats, and PN with seven seats. The Selangor state government was formed through the cooperation between BN and PN.
