Two killed in separate road crashes in Co Tyrone

Two individuals met their untimely demise in separate road accidents in County Tyrone this week. The first fatality occurred on July 30th in Coalisland, involving a teenage boy, Connor Magee Campbell, aged 16. The tragic incident took place on Derryloughlan Road around 8:15pm when he was involved in a collision with a lorry. Connor was immediately treated by the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service at the scene before being transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The police have issued an appeal for any dash-cam footage from the area to assist their investigation.

In a separate incident, a man in his 40s lost his life in a two-vehicle crash in Clogher on Tuesday afternoon. The collision, involving a car and a lorry, happened on Crossowen Road around 12:40pm. The deceased has been identified as Damien Paul Bintley, aged 45, from Holywood. Upon arriving at the scene, the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service provided emergency medical assistance to several persons involved.

The police have subsequently launched an appeal for witnesses to the accident and are requesting anyone with dash-cam footage to come forward and assist their ongoing inquiry.
