Coins.ph teams up with Bayad

Manila, Philippines - Digital asset platform Coins.ph is broadening its payments services through a new partnership with Bayad. This collaboration will nearly double the number of billers available on Coins.ph, allowing users to pay over 300 merchants covering various expenses such as utilities, government services, telecommunications, travel, banking, and more. The expansion also aims to reduce reliance on third-party payment aggregators and enhance the overall user experience.

By integrating directly with Bayad's biller network, Coins.ph users can now process transactions with major billers more swiftly, bypassing intermediaries and reducing the chances of delays or late-payment charges. The partnership will enable real-time posting for major billers, with payments typically reflecting within 24 hours.

Coins.ph's global marketing director, Amira Alawi, emphasized the company's goal to seamlessly integrate into users' daily lives. The partnership with Bayad, a trusted household name, will make it even easier for users to settle their expenses by tapping nearly 300 billers within the app.

For Bayad, the agreement will extend its payment infrastructure to another digital financial platform, catering to the growing number of consumers who prefer to handle routine transactions through mobile applications. Dennis Gatuslao, Bayad's chief commercial and marketing officer, highlighted that the partnership "bridges the best of everyday traditional payments with the power of digital finance."

With this collaboration, Coins.ph aims to expand its user base and establish itself as a comprehensive payments and financial services app, beyond its cryptocurrency trading offerings.
