MCIT celebrates graduation of 10 firms of Scale Now programme

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) recently celebrated the graduation of 10 technology companies from the third cohort of its Scale Now programme. This milestone comes as MCIT simultaneously launched the program's fourth cohort, welcoming 12 new companies to participate. The graduation ceremony underscores MCIT's dedication to fostering the growth of promising technology ventures and solidifying Qatar's position as a regional center for innovation and digital entrepreneurship.

The graduated companies have developed innovative solutions across various strategic sectors, such as industrial, health, media, agricultural, e-commerce, enterprise, and logistics technologies. This diversity highlights the strength of Qatar's technology entrepreneurship ecosystem and demonstrates the Scale Now programme's role in supporting companies that address evolving market demands.

Notable companies in the graduating cohort include Syook, a no-code Industrial IoT and AI platform; Digital Petroleum, which offers AI sensor technology for industrial plant digitalization; Medica, a healthcare fintech platform; Eshfaa, a digital healthcare and medical tourism platform; Aligator, an AI media intelligence platform; Rawi, an Arabic audio platform producing a variety of audio content; Growa, an agritech company delivering data-driven farming solutions; Genio, an e-commerce platform providing cashless payment and nutrition-tracking services; Byanat, an AI observability platform for telecom and data centre infrastructure; and WareOne, an asset-light logistics orchestrator.

Over the course of the program's first three cohorts, participating companies collectively secured approximately $13.8 million in funding, closed 388 B2B deals, and achieved an average revenue growth of 32%. Additionally, entrepreneurs benefited from 569 hours of dedicated advisory support, and the programme maintained an overall satisfaction rate of 89% among participants.

MCIT Director Faraj Abdulla stated, "The graduation of the third cohort of the Scale Now programme reflects the tangible outcomes the program has achieved in supporting high-potential technology companies and enabling them to grow, expand, and access new markets." MCIT Director Ali al-Mawlawi added, "This initiative reflects our commitment to empowering startups, fostering innovation, and advancing the Digital Agenda 2030, further reinforcing Qatar's position as a leading hub for the digital economy."

The third cohort concluded with WareOne successfully expanding its operations into Saudi Arabia. WareOne's founder and CEO, Sheikh Khalifa al-Thani, expressed gratitude for the program's broader impact beyond their initial expectations. The MCIT's commitment to the Scale Now programme continues with the launch of its fourth cohort, welcoming 12 new technology companies.
